Anuga FoodTec, the world’s leading supplier fair covering all aspects of food and beverage production will be held once again in Cologne from March 19-22, 2024. One of the most important events on the calendar where Hiperbaric, the global leading manufacturer of HPP equipment, will be exhibiting the many benefits of High Pressure Processing: shelf-life extension, food safety and clean label. As a complementary solution for its HPP systems, Hiperbaric designs, manufactures and supplies tailor-made, flexible and personalized solutions for the automation of food operations that work with high pressure processing technology. Moreover, the company presents its new HPTP technology, an innovative process suitable for making shelf-stable products using far less heat compared to conventional food preservation technologies.

Hiperbaric will once again attend Anuga FoodTec as a leader in high-pressure technology, which has already proven to contribute greatly to improving food safety and quality, thanks to the high-pressure cold process, or HPP. This process eliminates food pathogens and extends shelf life without the use of additives or preservatives, and without changing the nutritional properties of the food, including color or flavor. In addition, we can extend shelf life, thus allowing food to be exported to new markets and reducing food waste.

Latest innovations to be showcase during the show

On this occasion, Hiperbaric will present two new solutions:

  • HPTP: on the one hand, its new High Pressure Thermal Processing (HPTP). This technology incorporates a canister that adds gentle heat to the HPP machines, using lower temperature than thermal technologies, but allows combining the lethality of heat in the destruction of microorganisms with the speed of high pressure. This is undoubtedly a further step in the development of technologies that contribute to improving food safety globally.
  • Hiperbaric Automation Systems: on the other hand, thanks to Hiperbaric’s experience in manufacturing HPP industrial equipment, it is able to design, manufacture and supply tailor-made, flexible and customized solutions for the automation of all types of food industries working with high pressure processing technology. This ranges from robotics, automation and industry 4.0.

“The future of food involves sustainability and innovation with the development of technologies such as HPP or high pressure processing, which offer healthy products of high nutritional quality, without preservatives or colorants and more environmentally friendly. Sustainability in the food sector must be an ethical, operational and strategic commitment of companies”. Andrés Hernando, CEO of Hiperbaric.
