  • The company expects to generate €86 million in revenue thanks to strong business performance, compared to €77 million in 2024.
  • According to its estimates, the Burgos-based company will achieve EBITDA of €26 million, up 8% from €24 million in 2024.
  • The company expects its workforce to grow by nearly 50% in just two years, reaching 220 employees in 2026.

Hiperbaric, the pioneering Spanish company and world leader in the development of high-pressure industrial equipment, expects to close the 2025 financial year with a 12% increase in its business, reaching €86 million compared to €77 million last year.

The Burgos-based company, which attributes this increase to the strong performance of its business, expects EBITDA to reach €26 million by the end of 2025, 8% more than the €24 million recorded in 2024.

The forecasts for 2025 reflect the strength of our business model and the trust our customers place in our technology. Achieving 12% growth and a new sales record is the result of a clear strategy, a committed team, and a constant commitment to innovation in high-pressure technology,” says Andrés Hernando, CEO of Hiperbaric.

The company will therefore once again post record results thanks to the strong performance of its business. By business line, Hiperbaric expects to generate €8 million in revenue from green hydrogen compression technology, €2 million from hot isostatic pressing (HIP), and €75.5 million from high-pressure processing (HPP) technology for the food and beverage sector.

In terms of the company’s consolidated sales performance over the last three years, Hiperbaric has increased its turnover by 44.4%, from €53.3 million in 2021 to €77 million in 2024. Of the 77.065 million invoiced in 2024, 90% (69 million) came from high-pressure technology for the food sector and the remaining 10% from green hydrogen compression equipment for sustainable mobility.

Major milestones in 2025

Its global leadership in HPP has led to more than half of the nearly 700 industrial units installed worldwide being manufactured by Hiperbaric, representing a 65% market share. In Spain, 8 out of 10 machines installed are from the world’s leading manufacturer, with 42 of the 50 existing units.

In June of this year, the company sold Taiwan the first 100% Spanish-made hot isostatic pressing technology equipment for the aerospace industry. It is currently expanding its facilities in Burgos with the construction of a new warehouse that will house the largest HIP equipment designed to date.

Similarly, in 2025, Hiperbaric became the European leader in green hydrogen compression technology by opening new markets in Europe and installing its first equipment in the Netherlands, Austria, Sweden, and Finland. The company closed 2024 with a business portfolio of 20 units, doubling the number installed in 2023, for sustainable mobility and industrial projects developed in Spain, France, and Germany.

The positive outlook and growth of the technology has resulted in the sale of 52 H2 compressor units for different applications, of which 23 (44%) have been for hydrogen refueling stations (HRS) and 21 (40%) for tube trailers. The company has already installed 29 in more than 10 different locations across Europe. Hiperbaric was the Spanish company that supplied the first high-pressure hydrogen compressor for sustainable mobility to the National Hydrogen Center in Puertollano, Ciudad Real, and supplied another unit to the Power to Green Hydrogen project, the consortium led by Enagás, Acciona, Cemex, IDEA, and Redexis, to deploy the green hydrogen ecosystem in Mallorca.

As a result of all this, the company plans to reach 220 employees in 2026, a growth of close to 50% in its workforce in two years, from the 150 employees registered at the beginning of 2024.
