In September, Hiperbaric will participate in the 56th European High Pressure Research Group Meeting (EHRPG) in Aveiro, Portugal; the 10th International Conference on High Pressure Bioscience and Biotechnology (HPBB2018) in Numazu, Shizuoka, Japan and the IFT-EFFoST 2018 International Nonthermal Processing Workshop in Sorrento-Salerno, Italy.
September is a key month for everybody, from kids and students coming back to their classes, companies entering the most hectic period of the year and hydrostatic pressures will not be spared of this maelstrom either. Indeed, the last trimester of 2018 will be full of events in the High Pressure Processing (HPP) world and experts will found once again Hiperbaric deeply involved in the key events for HPP science in Europe and Asia.
From the 2nd to 7th of September, University of Aveiro will host the 56th European High Pressure Research Group Meeting (EHRPG) in the Centro Cultural e de Congressos de Aveiro, Portugal.
The EHRPG reunites every year the main European research groups working on High Pressure and its many different applications. Ranging from the well-known applications for food preservation to emerging applications such as extraction of different compounds from cells through selective pressure or selective bio-engineering amongst other issues.
As the world leading company for High Pressure Processing, Hiperbaric has always supported this even as a Platinum sponsor and has presented their last innovations, in both equipments and applications of this technology. In this edition, Mario Angulo, Applications Specialist of Hiperbaric, will tell us about foodborne pathogens after High Pressure Processing (HPP). Then, Carole Tonello, Commercial & Applications Director of Hiperbaric, will give further details about the Hiperbaric Bulk system, which will revolutionize the HPP beverage market. This technology is a global innovation for large productions of HPP beverages that is based on a new concept (patent pending), the high pressure processing of beverages in bulk before bottling. With the new machines, the process will be simpler, with less stages and with a higher productivity.
Just two weeks after, from September 18th to 22nd, 2018, Hiperbaric will attend to the 10th International Conference on High Pressure Bioscience and Biotechnology (HPBB2018) that will be held in Numazu, Shizuoka in Japan.
Japan was one of the first countries to notice the potential of HPP as a processing technology and to develop the first products in the 90s and adopted the technology at the beginning of 2000s including the installation of an Hiperbaric system for Seafood Meat Extraction in Mitsunori. Hiperbaric always willing to be in contact with the latest investigations, participates in this event every year, as an honored guest to spread the news of the HPP community to Japanese researchers and companies.
In this edition, Hiperbaric also will announce and share details on the new Hiperbaric Bulk technology that will hopefully lead to a revolution on how Japanese customer enjoy juices and allow to democratize the benefits of High Pressure technology among them.
Finally, Hiperbaric will participate in the IFT-EFFoST 2018 International Nonthermal Processing Workshop which will take place from September 25th to September 27th in University di Salerno, Italy. In this event, Carole Tonello will talk to us about the most commercially developed nonthermal processing technologies (with membrane sterilizing filtration), High pressure processing (HPP) and irradiation (ionizing radiation) and the way as they increase food safety and shelf-life, avoiding modifications generated by heat processing.
If you would like to know more about the latest trends and applications of HPP, do not miss the opportunity to meet Hiperbaric´s experts assisting to these outstanding events.
