  • The company has successfully passed the external audits of the certifying entity.
  • Certificates confirm the company’s good practice in these matters, to which it has been committed for years.

Hiperbaric, a world leader in high-pressure technology, has just received a triple certificate from AENOR that demonstrates the company’s firm commitment to quality, the environment and occupational health and safety.

The certificates verify the correct implementation of management systems in accordance with international standards in the areas of quality (ISO 9001), environment (ISO 14001) and occupational health and safety (ISO 45001), and the company’s good practice in these areas, to which it has been committed for years. HIPERBARIC has successfully passed the audits carried out by the certifying entity.

The certificates were awarded on April 12 at an official ceremony held in Burgos, attended by the founder and CEO of HIPERBARIC, Andrés Hernando; the Industrial General Manager, Miguel Hernando and the Company’s Quality Manager, Blanca Urquidi. On behalf of AENOR, Inmaculada García, Director of AENOR in Castilla y León, presented the certificate.

During the ceremony, Andrés Hernando explained that the certificates are an important recognition of the work carried out by HIPERBARIC over the years and of the company’s efforts to comply with and continue to advance along the path of quality, environmental protection and worker health and safety. “Receiving this triple certificate is great news for us because, although we have always been committed to the quality and innovation of our equipment, with the greatest respect for the environment and the welfare of our workers, it ratifies our firm defense of the values shared by society where, increasingly, aspects such as sustainability and occupational safety have greater weight,” said Hernando during the award ceremony.

Inmaculada García, Director of AENOR in Castilla y León, pointed out that with these three certifications “HIPERBARIC demonstrates with facts that it is an organization concerned about doing things well and better every day, allocating resources so that its activity has the minimum effects on the environment, while offering a safe environment to the people who make up its workforce. In short, it is a responsible and committed organization, and this is what society demands of companies today”.

Continuous improvement and professionalism

The quality management certificate certifies that HIPERBARIC is committed to continuous improvement with a rigorous and professional work team. The award will allow the company to increase the involvement of its professionals and greater conviction in transmitting its commitment to quality to all employees and customers.

The environmental certificate, on the other hand, establishes that HIPERBARIC has implemented a system that helps to prevent environmental impacts, using the necessary means to avoid, reduce or control them, always seeking a balance with the socioeconomic rationality and betting on continuous improvement.

In the case of the occupational health and safety management certificate, the company’s compliance with all legal requirements is confirmed. Obtaining the certificate will help the company to promote a greater culture of preventive health and safety, involving employees to play an active role.
