frente a las t\u00e9cnicas tradicionales de conservaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Un art\u00edculo reciente de la Universidad de Putra Malasia, titulado <a href=\"https:\/\/jms.mabjournal.com\/index.php\/mab\/article\/view\/3152\"><em>\u00abFormulaci\u00f3n de un gel antiacn\u00e9 con extractos de Citrus aurantifolia (Christm.) y Aloe barbadensis (L.) y evaluaci\u00f3n del impacto del procesamiento por alta presi\u00f3n y microondas\u00bb<\/em><\/a>, ejemplifica el potencial de estos m\u00e9todos de conservaci\u00f3n de vanguardia como sustitutos de los parabenos y el impacto del tratamiento en la estabilidad f\u00edsica del gel.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Etapas clave del estudio:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>An\u00e1lisis fitoqu\u00edmico de los extractos herbales:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>La evaluaci\u00f3n cuantitativa de los extractos vegetales mostr\u00f3 que el <strong>lim\u00f3n<\/strong> (C. aurantifolia) presentaba niveles m\u00e1s altos de compuestos fen\u00f3licos, flavonoides, taninos y \u00e1cido asc\u00f3rbico que el <strong>aloe vera<\/strong> (A. barbadensis).<\/li>\n<li>Adem\u00e1s, la t\u00e9cnica de GC-MS gel:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Una vez caracterizados, se utiliz\u00f3 un 1% de cada extracto vegetal junto con Carbopol-940 como agente gelificante.<\/li>\n<li>El gel formulado fue evaluado en cuanto a sus <strong>propiedades fisicoqu\u00edmicas<\/strong> y se compar\u00f3 con una formulaci\u00f3n herbal comercial.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" inodora, transl\u00facida, lavable, homog\u00e9nea y sin grumos.<\/li>\n<li>Tambi\u00e9n mostr\u00f3 buena extensibilidad, viscosidad, extruibilidad, estabilidad y un alto porcentaje de contenido de principio activo.<\/li>\n<li>El gel formulado mostr\u00f3 una mayor inhibici\u00f3n contra <em>Staphylococcus aureus<\/em>, lo que indica una actividad antibacteriana superior a la del producto An\u00e1lisis f\u00edsico de los geles tratados (alta presi\u00f3n y microondas):<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Los tratamientos con alta presi\u00f3n (600 MPa, 120 s) y microondas (700 W, 80 s) fueron alternativas eficaces a los parabenos.<\/li>\n<li>Adem\u00e1s, los procesos de pasteurizaci\u00f3n por alta presi\u00f3n y microondas <strong>mejoraron la viscosidad y la extensibilidad<\/strong> del gel (sin parabenos), logrando resultados similares a los del gel convencional que contiene parabenos.<\/li>\n<li>Ambos geles tratados mantuvieron su <strong>estabilidad durante 4 semanas<\/strong>, comparable a las formulaciones que contienen parabenos (producto comercial y gel con parabenos).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Conclusi\u00f3n<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Con este nuevo hallazgo, se concluye que el gel herbal antiacn\u00e9 lavable y permeable a la piel, formulado con <em>C. aurantifolia<\/em> y <em>A. barbadensis<\/em>, tiene un alto potencial como cosmec\u00e9utico.
