\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n On June 6th and 7th<\/strong>, Burgos<\/strong> will welcome 150 students<\/strong> from 12 educational centers<\/strong> across Spain to take part in the Hiperbaric Challenge<\/strong>, an educational initiative that concludes with the traditional gravity car race organized by Hiperbaric<\/strong>, the Burgos-based<\/strong> world leader in high-pressure technology.<\/p>\n The 12 educational centers<\/strong> participating in the 12th edition<\/strong> of this educational challenge come from A Coru\u00f1a<\/strong> (IES de Fene), Madrid<\/strong> (IES Virgen de la Paloma and IES Humanes de Parla), Barcelona<\/strong> (IES Esteve Terradas i Illa, from Cornell\u00e1 de Llobregat), Valencia<\/strong> (IES Jaume I, from Ontinyent), Vizcaya<\/strong> (CIFP Bidebieta), Palencia<\/strong> (CIFP Camino de la Miranda), and Burgos<\/strong> (Colegio Ni\u00f1os Jes\u00fas<\/strong>). The teams will compete for awards in five categories: Hiperbaric Challenge 2025 Winner<\/strong>, Best Technical Project<\/strong>, Business Entrepreneurship<\/strong>, Social Values<\/strong>, and Performance and Attitude during the Race<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Once again, the educational challenge will test the prototyping of gravity cars designed and built by the students, as they race through the streets of Burgos<\/strong>, in accordance with the technical requirements set by the Spanish Federation of Gravity Sports (FDI)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Hiperbaric Challenge<\/strong> is an initiative aimed at sparking technological and scientific vocations among students aged 13 and up, through the design and construction of a gravity car prototype. The challenge targets students in 3rd and 4th year of ESO<\/strong>, Baccalaureate<\/strong>, and Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced Vocational Training programs<\/strong> throughout Spain<\/strong>.<\/p>\n To reach this point, the 12 participating teams<\/strong> had to submit a comprehensive project and a feasibility plan, covering technical and technological aspects, marketing, financial planning, and team management. Students participate in teams, guided by a tutor<\/strong> and mentors<\/strong>. The tutor<\/strong> is responsible for guiding the team toward achieving the final goal and acts as the group\u2019s administrative representative.<\/p>\n Hiperbaric<\/strong> provides both tutors<\/strong> and students<\/strong> with the necessary tools to develop their projects, offering support in the form of training sessions<\/strong> and mentoring<\/strong>, as well as logistical aid through a basic kit<\/strong> that includes a car body<\/strong> and wheels with tires and rims<\/strong> for each team.<\/p>\n Before the urban race<\/strong> scheduled for Saturday, June 7th<\/strong>, the students will present and defend their projects on June 6th<\/strong> at the Hiperbaric<\/strong> facilities, the global leader in high-pressure equipment manufacturing.<\/p>\n In the previous edition, IES Virgen de la Paloma <\/a>from Madrid<\/strong>, represented by their team \u201cLos Palomos<\/strong>,\u201d took first place.<\/p>\n The Hiperbaric Challenge<\/strong> gives young participants an opportunity to get closer to the business world<\/strong>, where they face decision-making processes<\/strong> and receive academic and career guidance<\/strong>. It also offers a first-hand experience in the world of technology<\/strong>, thanks to the collaboration of two innovative tech companies: Hiperbaric<\/strong> and Desmasa<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Hiperbaric Challenge<\/strong>\u00a0is organized by Hiperbaric and\u00a0Desmasa<\/a> and supported by the Burgos City Council<\/strong>, the Burgos Provincial Council<\/strong>, the Spanish Federation of Gravity Sports<\/strong>, and the companies Invicta<\/strong> <\/a>and El Vag\u00f3n<\/strong>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Here’s a short video that explains what the Hiperbaric Challenge<\/strong> is, how it works, and why it\u2019s such a great opportunity for students and educational centers:<\/p>\n\n
