National experts and companies from the sector met in Burgos in a conference open to the public to explain the Castilla y Leon Hydrogen Valley project, analyze the Spanish infrastructure and showcase several success stories of European companies working in the different phases of the hydrogen value chain. The day ended with a visit to Hiperbaric to learn about the operation of high-pressure compressor technology, Aciturri’s high-pressure storage tanks and fire safety equipment in H2 facilities of Komtes Group.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The presentation day of the Hydrogen Valley of Castilla y Le\u00f3n (CYLH2 Valley)<\/strong> organized by the City Council of Burgos and the Hydrogen Association of Castilla y Le\u00f3n (H2CYL) at the F\u00f3rum Evoluci\u00f3n in Burgos, served as the starting point of the Castilian project, which is born with the backing of Europe and a total estimated investment of 380 million euros, as we already told in this previous news<\/a>. Its objective is to turn the region into the main integrated ecosystem of green hydrogen in Spain and cover its entire value chain, from production to compression, distribution and storage.<\/p>\n

Hiperbaric’s headquarters also hosted the presentation of the Valley, and at the company’s facilities in Burgos there was a technological showcase of different key technologies of the green H2 value chain. The take-off of green hydrogen in Spain was also analyzed with the Hydrogen Valley in Castilla y Leon, with a project that marks a milestone in the commitment to green hydrogen as a driver of sustainable development and industrial innovation.<\/p>\n

During the visit, Hiperbaric experts presented the Hydrogen Compression technology at high pressures<\/strong>, as well as the most important R&D projects around the H2 Value Chain. With Aciturri<\/strong>, a Tier 1 aeronautical company, the visit focused on high-pressure gaseous hydrogen and liquid hydrogen storage systems. And with Komtes Group<\/strong>, a benchmark in extinguishing systems, the different components to ensure safety in H2 refueling stations were explained.<\/p>\n
