The workshop combined lectures, pilot plant demonstrations, and visits to Universal Pure\u2019s HPP facility and Petsource by Scoular\u2019s freeze-drying and co-manufacturing facility.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The event was attended by 90 participants, representing 41 companies and organizations from the pet food processing industry, including major players such as Mars Petcare, Nestle Purina, Blue Buffalo, Stella &amp; Chewy&#8217;s, Steve&#8217;s Real Food, The Farmer&#8217;s Dog, OC Raw Dog, Spot &amp; Tango, and Green Juju.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/yC-g9426xK8\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Participants were provided a digital badge issued by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for completing the workshop.<\/p>\n<p>Event sponsors included <a href=\"https:\/\/fpc.unl.edu\/\">UNL Food Processing Center<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hiperbaric.com\/\">Hiperbaric<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/parkerfreezedry.com\/\">Parker Freeze Dry<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/universalpure.com\/\">Universal Pure<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are thrilled with the response and participation we received for this workshop,&#8221; said Dr. Grace Danao, UNL Research Associate Professor.
