The head of the body belonging to the Ministry of Science and Innovation has visited the company&#8217;s headquarters in Burgos and met with Andr\u00e9s Hernando, CEO of Hiperbaric; Carole Tonello, General Director of Business Development, and other senior officers of the company in a meeting that has highlighted the expansion and growth of Hiperbaric.<\/p>\n<p>The company is a world leader in the development and manufacture of high-pressure industrial equipment and expects to go public within two years. In this sense, the firm holds the global leadership with 60 % of the market share and more than 300 HPP equipment installed in 45 countries.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>HIP technology for the development of advanced materials<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>In 2018 Hiperbaric launched a new line of industrial machinery for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hiperbaric.com\/en\/hip-technology\/\">Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP)<\/a> used to confer improved mechanical properties to critical industrial metallic and ceramic components. Thanks to HIP, advanced materials can be developed focused on the aerospace, energy, oil &amp; gas, automotive and medical implant sectors. Hiperbaric&#8217;s HIP technology focuses on the post-processing of complex components made from different types of advanced super alloys.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are working on a new HIP technology equipment that will mean a qualitative leap to innovate in advanced materials for Metal Additive Manufacturing technologies&#8221;, said Andr\u00e9s Hernando, CEO of Hiperbaric. It is the first hydrogen compressor of Spanish innovation at very high pressures.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hiperbaric.com\/en\/hiperbaric-supply-first-spanish-high-pressure-hydrogen-compressor\/\">Hiperbaric will install the first Spanish hydrogen compressor at the end of this summer in the hydrogen filling station of the National Hydrogen Center (CNH2)<\/a>, in Ciudad Real. It is an equipment that manages to fill hydrogen storage tanks of up to 1,000 bar pressure, to recharge the tanks of the latest generation fuel cell vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis industrial technological development will allow Hiperbaric to be prepared to meet the strong supply demand in the coming years of compressors with similar characteristics for the installation in Spain and other countries of a wide network of hydrogen filling stations, which allow the circulation of fuel cell vehicles.\u201d highlights Andr\u00e9s Hernando.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Committed to R&amp;D<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Since it was founded in 1999, it has participated in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hiperbaric.com\/en\/about-us\/r-and-d-projects\/\">more than 25 R&amp;D projects<\/a> and involves more than 20% of the workforce in these activities, facts that have contributed to its committed, avant-garde and groundbreaking image.
